The PPSO (Professional Pool & Spa Operator) Certification Course is the only commercial aquatics program produced by an industry organization recognized by the American National Standards Institute to develop and promote national standards for pools, hot tubs and spas.
The PPSO provides a solid foundation for a career in aquatics.
PPSO Certification Class Registration:
The Professional Pool & Spa Operator Certification Course is a 2 day class (8am to 5pm both days).
Tuition fee: $240 per student.

Cancellations received fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the class are refundable and are subject to a $15.00 registration service charge. Cancellations received less than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the class are subject to the entire registration fee, if a student does not cancel and does not attend, the student is still responsible for the payment.
The Professional Pool and Spa Operator (PPSO) certification course is the industry’s new premier program for commercial swimming pool operators, managers, engineers, service company professionals, health officials and facility owners
Who Should Become a PPSO?
Chief Engineers, Hotel Maintenance Engineers, Facilities Maintenance Managers, Commercial swimming pool operators, managers, Maintenance Technicians, Hotel Maintenance, Apartment Maintenance, Student Housing Maintenance, Condo Maintenance, HOA Maintenance Personnel No experience is required; new employees are eligible.
The PPSO program’s content complies with the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC) and meets training requirements of the Model of Aquatic Health Code (MAHC).
The PPSO Certification course is approved by the Florida Department of Health for student certification as a Public Pool Service Technician under Chapter 514, F.S., and Chapter 64E-9, F.A.C.
The PPSO Certification course is approved by the Georgia Department of Public Health, Environmental Health Branch for operator training under the Rules and Regulations for Swimming Pools, Spas and Recreational Waterparks, Chapter 290-5-57.22(1)
